Website Assistance

Welcome! This help page is intended to show you how to navigate the new Lakeside Website. It demonstrates the LFA site, but the LVA site works the same!

Watch the video and see below for tips on how to login, update your profile, search the directory and much more!

Logging In

  • Click on login at the top of the page
  • You will see the login page
  • Enter your proper email and password
    (ie. your email shown in the LFA directory)
  • If you do not know your password, click on Forgot password
  • You can login with Facebook or Google, if the email you used for those accounts matches your email in the LFA directory
  • Update: You must checkmark the I AM NOT A ROBOT box now!



Forgot Password

  • If you do not know your password, click on the Forgot password on the login page

  • Enter your email address; this must be the email in the LFA directory
  • An email will be sent to the address you entered that contains a link
  • Click on the link to change your password
  • Click set new password
  • Note: For security reasons, the link will expire within 24 hours of the message being sent

Quick Menu

  • Across the top of every page is a quick menu & search
  • Use these links to find & search for useful information
  • Directory is the LFA neighborhood directory
  • Documents contains the Governing Documents
  • Calendar shows important LFA dates to remember
  • Help shows this page of useful tips



Directory

  • The online LFA directory is easy to search
  • Enter any part of the name, phone, address, or email
  • There is also a street directory, handy for a list of neighbors
  • Click on View Details to see their profile, including photo albums



Search

  • At the top of the website, see a Search box
  • Enter any part of a subject you are trying to locate
  • After you enter a word or phrase, press Enter
  • The list will show of places to find your subject



Profile Updates

  • Click on your name at the top of the website
  • Click on "Edit profile" button
  • Update any information, press "Save"
  • You can add photos by clicking on "Member photo album"



Adding your Picture

  • From your profile, you can add your photo
  • You can use JPG, GIF, PNG or TIF
  • Size is best of 110 x 110 pixels, but image will be automatically sized
  • You can select the file from your computer
  • You can remove the image by clicking Remove / change
  • Remember to press Save



Member Photo Albums

  • Open your profile by clicking on your name at the top of the website
  • Click on Member photo albums
  • Follow the prompts to create a new album
  • Follow the prompts to add photos
  • Folks can find your photos on your profile
  • You can share the link by copying the URL at the top of the page
  • There is unlimited storage for photos in member albums




Mobile App

  • Download the app called "Wild Apricot for Members"
  • Or go to https://www.wildapricot.com/mobile-app for details
  • Once downloaded, open to see Your Profile, Members, and Events on your phone

  • PROFILE: Click the pencil to edit if you need to make any changes. You can only edit your information.
    MEMBERS: Use the spyglass to search for names or addresses. Click on any name to see contact info.
    EVENTS: Open the desired meeting, click on INFO tab to see the meeting agenda and Google Meet links.   


About the Association

Lakeside Westerville is made of up Lakeside Village Association (LFA) and Lakeside Forest Association (LVA) homeowners associations (HOA) located just off Schrock Road in Westerville, Ohio.
